A SISTER FOUNDATION - BECAUSE HEALTH HAS NO BORDERS

Because of our commitment to serve everyone in the Paso del Norte region, Fundación UMC de México is a sister organization of University Medical Center Foundation of El Paso. Through the binational Borderless Giving Program, our mission is to help low-income children with Mexican citizenship to receive life-changing care for specific orthopedic conditions, including Club Foot, Hip Dysplasia, Arthrogryposis (joint contractures or stiffness), Club Hand, Syndactyly (fused digits), and Polydactyly (supernumerary fingers and/or toes) and related conditions.

Fundación UMC de México organizes a Day Clinic in Ciudad Juárez where pediatric orthopedic physicians from both sides of the border evaluate children to determine if they are candidates for surgery.  Surgeries are performed in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México and El Paso, Texas.

Within the past seven years, our Fundación has impacted the lives of many children and their families through over 100 life-changing surgeries made possible through generous donations and fundraising events held throughout the year in Ciudad Juárez and El Paso.

YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT CHANGES A LIFE FOREVER

If just one orthopedic procedure can help a child hold a pencil, stay in school, ride a bicycle, help them walk or keep them from injuring themselves, our efforts are worthwhile. These children are only three miles away from El Paso and need your help. Please make a life-changing donation today.
